Some customers have asked for more information about our Smelly Good Stuffs Fragrance and Body Oils. What are in them? Good question! I’ve not thought about it. I’ve tried every scent we have (even though I don’t like all of them!). Here is the information I have about the products we use for our Fragrance and Body oils.
Our Smelly Good Stuffs Premium Body Oils are made with a hypoallergenic Liquid SilkBase (it is a silicone based compound that has been used by the larger cosmetic companies), blended with extreme concentrated fragrance oils*. We chose the SilkBase for our Body Oils because it is odorless, it dries faster than alcohol, is safe for direct body wear, and leaves a silky smooth texture on your skin. The SilkBase Ingredients: Cyclotetrasiloxane, Cyclopentasiloxane.
The extreme concentrated Oils we use are safe to use on your skin when mixed with the SilkBase. They are not natural fragrances. The company states that their fragrance oils are created through chemical analysis to create each scent.
Our Fragrance Oils are for warming pots. The Extreme Concentrate fragrance is mixed with DPG, which is non-toxic and safe for wear on the skin, however we do not suggest fragrance oils on your skin.
*Some fragrances may cause skin irritation with people who have sensitive skin.
When people come into our shop to buy incense I often get asked what my favorite scent is. Well…..that’s hard to say. I guess it depends on my mood or how the day’s going. Sometimes I can smell a scent and like it, later in the day go back and do not like it. This time I’m going to refer to Smelly Good Stuffs scents. (Maybe another time I’ll tell about my other favorites).
Most definatly a favorite all the time favorite Stick Incenses are, Dark Chocolate and Mochaccino. I like to burn one of these with Vanilla. I often burn these in the afternoons when I’m getting hungry, or have a chocolate craving. Works for me and helps me get through the afternoon. Some of my other favorite Smelly Good Stuffs stick fragrances right now are Sandalwood, Dragons Blood, and Love Spell type.
My favorite Body Oil scent….hummm….this really depends on my mood. Probably more so than the sticks. I think right now my most favorite is Sandalwood. I have been known to wear Amber, Clinique Simply type, Egyptian Musk, Love Spell type, O Oui type, Orange Creamsicle, and Very Sexy type.
Fragrance oils……I don’t burn these as often because I’m afraid I will forget to unplug my electric oil warmer. My favorites are Sandalwood and Dragons Blood.
